The Cycle of Terror and Tragedy by Graydon Parrish

And when you would think the allegory was dead...
With such poor education is schools (these days?), I wonder if such monstrous art, which I personally compare  to the force of La Guernica, has a public beyond the few visually literate?
An allegory and a metaphor is not just a snob way of saying something without saying it. I think they hit your brain and numb your cool-intellectual reading of an event, or an experience. Art like this helps you get quiet and have an experience on a spiritual level, one that has no connection with your preconceived ideas and morals. That's when your previous life experience and knowledge of culture contributes objectively.

Graydon Parrish's website opens with a quote:
Allegory has the capacity to rescue from historical oblivion that which threatens to disappear.

Robert Liberace

It's refreshing to see an artist like Liberace pop up now and then.
His instructional videos are fantastic for people who learn by watching others doing, like myself.
